Shoes will take us to beautiful places. Shoes are an important part of our everyday life. It seeks to protect the soles and the foot in general. There are others that consider this as an item of decoration but it is mostly noted for its function. The design of the shoes evolved through time and culture.

For a certain activity, we need different sets of shoes. There is no doubt that there are many people with many pairs of shoes. Shoes are generally made of materials like leather, wood, rubber and plastic. It also comes in various colours and types.



This type of shoes is particularly worn for sporting events or activities. Modern athletic shoes are designed to take full advantage of friction since friction is an important force for athletes. Famous athletic shoes include Reebok, Adidas, Spalding, Keds, Nike and Chuck Taylor All-Stars.


Boots are famous because it covers the ankle, the foot and it actually extends up to the legs and the knees. Different types of boots include cowboy boots, hiking boots, snow boots, ski boots, mining boots, construction boots, military boots and police boots.


Dress and Casual

Dress and casual shoes have three groupings: shoes for men, women and unisex. Men’s shoes include oxford, slip-ons, brogues, derby shoes, monk-straps, plain-toes and cap-toes. Women’s shoes include high heeled shoes (kitten heels, stiletto heels and wedge heels), mules, slingbacks, ballet flats and court shoes. Shoes for either gender include clog, platform shoes, sandals, slip-on shoes, boat shoes and slippers.


Many people are fond of dancing. Dancing shoes vary depending on the type of dance or the surface. Famous dance shoes are pointe shoes, ballet shoes, ghillies, jazz shoes, tango, ballroom shoes, dance sneakers, foot thongs and tap shoes.
